The material aspects of cultural assets targets multidisciplinary fields of material processing and analysis. In the field of material processing it goes beyond the technological aspect and depends on sophisticated nature of human perception, sight (spectroscopic) and other senses. In the filed of material analysis it includes a challenge in non-destructive analysis of compound materials.
This forum is intended to offer a venue to materials researchers from different disciplines. Their common objective is developing and applying scientific methods to understand and improve the research and knowledge on cultural heritage as well as to conserve cultural resources.
